Does any one have any information on the target stands used at the gun range? I'd like to make a few for the club and was hoping someone could provide some information on dimensions, materials etc.

Thank you Bob. The frames are made of 2- 8' pieces of 2" strapping. Cut 2' of each end and place one across the top. The other is placed so the bottom edge is 32" from the top. Use 2- 1" screws at each end and that's it.

Thanks Jim, My grandson and I will put a few together in the near future. Do we need to make bases for them as well or are there some there already? Last time I was there it appeared there were only 2.

There should be 5 or 6 around. A couple more wouldn't hurt. They should be 3'x2'. I usually add a piece of cardboard to shim the spacer so the stands slid in easier. Thank you for helping out the range Bob. It is very much appreciated.

Jim, My grandson and I made 4 target stands. There seemed to be plenty of them on the range so we left them down on the firing line. They can be put into use as needed. I also have lumber to build 2 more bases and we will get those done sometime soon. Bob
