There is a poker shoot scheduled for Sunday May 21 st.  This is a fun family event that anyone can win. Just shoot the target 5 times at 15 yards, turn them over when handed back and see what cards you hit to make a poker hand. The best hand wins the kitty. We take a short break at noon and there will be burgers and dogs available if you would like to buy lunch then back to more shooting.

Full rules can be found here  https://www.piscataqua-club.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=331

For this event you can get up to 10 tickets for the Ruger MK4 being raffled off at the Christmas party in Dec. 2017

We had another great turn out for the poker shoot today. It was great to see all the youths as well as some folks from the member wait list. Susie had a really bad cold and I tried to encourage her to stay home. She would have no part of that Idea. She really enjoys seeing everyone and helping to organize these events.
Todays winners are Armand Turcotte, Bill Clapp, Doug Crossman, Ken Tilton, Rudy Paddock, Dave Casper, Chuck "the donor" Petlick (2 games), Chris Pollock and Tom Maher.
After we played the 10 games it was requested to play one more game with cards face out to try an accuracy shoot. That game was won by "lucky" Bob Merrill with his trusty antique Winchester single shot, shooting 4 Aces. Very impressive Bob!
A big THANK YOU to Dave Casper and Ken Tilton for showing up early to help with the set up and to Tim Pollock for hanging all the targets. It was a great day and I look forward to the June Game
