It's official. I just got word from Mark Cook at MAC Tactical that the 2017 raffle gun is in. This year we have selected the new Ruger MK4 Target model.
As many of you may know the Ruger MK series has been the hardest hand gun to take down and clean. Well not anymore. They went from the hardest to the easiest with the MK4 series.
Just like last year the only way to get raffle tickets is to play in the range games.
For every round you enter for the Ham Shoot, poker shoots, Checkers League, Baseball or the Turkey Shoot you will get one ticket. Example, if you play 5 hands in the poker shoot you get 5 tickets, play all 10 and get 10 tickets. You may also purchase an equal amount of tickets for $1.00 each if you wish to increase your odds. The winner will be drawn at the Christmas party in Dec 2017.

Please remember Mark for your firearm needs. He can be contacted at
http://www.mactacticalllc.com/ or you can find him on Facebook

    Jim,

When it comes to pistols, something need to be kept in mind:

     - I assume that Mark's FFL is in NH. For those of us living in other states, there will be some hassle and cost associated with bringing it to other state and transferring it via local FFL.

     - For those of us living in MA, there is additional requirement (of course) that the pistol has to be on the Approved Roster. Currently the only MK4 Target on the roster is "Mark IV Target (Model # 40159)". Ruger is known to assign unique model numbers for minor modifications. Need to verify that the raffle pistol is indeed Model #40159. Since the Mark IV pistol is relatively new on the market, it is possible that more models will be on the roster by next December, but I would not rely on it.

Good point Igor. I will look into that with Mark. If not it may be a substitute gun for anyone South of the border.

We had a great time at the Christmas party tonight. The Yankee swap was a lot of fun. Thank you to Andy Lang and Lang's landscaping for donating two beautiful evergreen center pieces for door prizes. We had the much anticipated drawing for the Ruger MK4 pistol and the lucky winner was Scott Limone. Congratulations to Scott, looking forward to seeing that gun a next years events.
