Our 4th annual Turkey Shoot is scheduled for Sunday October 16th. This is an accuracy shoot using 22LR only. There are separate classes for handgun and rifle. For this event iron sights only, no optics will be allowed. Last years event was won by Caitlin Eno Beaudet and 2014 by Ann Hoyt. I'm sure they'll be back looking to beat up on the boys and defend their titles. There's still plenty of time so head down to the range and brush up on your iron sight skill and get ready to take on the girls.
If you don't own a 22 come on down anyways, there will be loaner guns available so you can join in on the fun.

    Previous winners

    2015 Caitlin Beaudet

    2014 Ann Hoyt

    2013 Kevin Robicheau

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Turkey shoot today. Another fun filled day with lots of laughter. The weather started out chilly but turned into a perfect afternoon. We had some really good shooting today making it hard on the judges. Lots of shots in the 7,8 and 9 rings which is amazing for 25 yards with open sights.
    Todays winners are:
Round 1 hand gun, Igor Kosvin
    Round 2 rifle, Jeff McIntosh
Round 3 hand gun, Tim Fisher
    Round 4 rifle, Igor Kosvin
Round 5 hand gun, Jason Masse
    Round 6 rifle, Igor Kosvin
Round 7 hand gun, Jason Masse
    Round 8 rifle, John Hoyt
Round 9 hand gun, Jason Masse
    Round 10 rifle, Jason Friel
The winner of the hand gun shoot out for a turkey was Tim Fisher and the winner of rifle for a turkey was Igor Kosvin.
In the shoot out for overall winner and a trophy Tim Fisher edged out Igor to win with a hand gun.
The winner of the turkey raffle to end the day was was Jeff McIntosh.
Congratulations to all the winners and to all the shooters for the fine shooting that was demonstrated today.

Tim told me he hasn't shot his pistol in several years and only decided to bring it at the last moment. He plans to retire in the spring and will have plenty of time to practice so we'll se what he does at the ham shoot. Glad to see another win by a hand gun. I'm always told it's unfair for a trophy shootout between a hand gun and a riffle but so far it's two wins rifle and two wins hand gun. Congratulations Tim, see you at the ham shoot.
