If any of our members saw the 5PM  news on Channel 4 today 11/23/2015  then you will understand why safety at the firing line is of the utmost priority.

There was an incident involving a stray round penetrating a second floor bedroom window at a house  1,000 yards downrange directly in line  from the clubs firing line.

From the looks of the video shown on the newscast the Berms are more than 4 Times the height of ours and also has steel plates overhead of the firing line designed to keep all projectiles contained within the range. Possible Ricochet ?????

This is only the second in the history of the club that such an occurrence has happened.

LUCKILY THE NEIGHBORS ARE NOT SCREAMING TO SHUT THE CLUB DOWN.

BUT THEY ARE ASKING FOR MORE CAUTION AND AWARENESS FROM THE SHOOTERS REGARDING TRAJECTORY PATHS OF ROUNDS FROM THE RANGE.

WE TALK ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME AND HERE IT HAS JUST HAPPENED ELSEWHERE.
