As Jason says "let the games begin". We will be starting off the 2016 season with a Ham Shoot on Sunday March 20th (sorry Caitlin). This is an accuracy shoot that is becoming very competitive but still fun for all. With the warm weather we've been having it's a good time to get down to the range and start honing your 22LR skills at 25 yards. If you don't own a 22 but want to participate, I'll have a loaner rifle and handgun available the day of the shoot. As always ammunition will be provided for this event. Full rules can be found here. https://www.piscataqua-club.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=372

Once again the weather held off and provided us with a beautiful day. It was great to see so many people come out and participate today, especially the family's. Right off the bat in the first round of rifle the Gannon kids (Corbin 12, Cody 10 and Alexis 8?) all hit in black showing everyone they were not to be taken lightly and everyone else better be on their game if they wanted to win. Once the games got going there was a lot of fine shooting. several rounds had multiple targets hit in 7,8 and 9 ring making the judging very close. todays winners in hand gun John Hoyt, Chris Tilton, George "Deuce" Rinalducci, Lee Roseberry and Josh Barr. The rifle winners are Jason Freil 2 rounds, Bob Merrill, Chris Tilton and Corbin Gannon. There was a special youth shoot out for a small ham won by Chris Pollock. The hand gun shoot out for a ham was won by Lee Roseberry. The rifle shoot out for a ham was won by Bob Merrill. The trophy shoot out was won by Bob Merrill. The raffle ham was won by John Gannon. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone for another safe event and for all the help with set up and take down. You can't see it to well but Corbin is holding a bullseye in this picture. Chris Pollock takes aim in the youth shootout
John now has a "trophy friend" in Bob Merrill
Deuce must have had a busy Saturday night. He keep saying he was seeing spots in his eyes.
Jim:We all had a great day of shooting. The best part was the amount of participants this time. Great to see the kids there it was a true family event. I think you're right about Deuce he must of had a real tough night. Thanks to Susie for the beans and brownies, she has your back.
